Understand Umrah first

This short gate is for first-timers and reverts. The live guide stays simple later, but first we make sure the basics are clear.

Foundation

What is Umrah?

Umrah is a pilgrimage to Makkah done as worship for Allah. It is shorter than Hajj and can usually be performed outside the Hajj days.

Think of it as a sacred journey with a few required actions, not a normal sightseeing trip.
Foundation

Why does Umrah matter?

It is a chance to turn back to Allah, make du’a, seek forgiveness, show humility, and worship in the place Muslims face in prayer.

You do not need to be perfect or fluent in Arabic. You need sincerity, the right order, and care not to harm others.
Foundation

Do Muslims worship the Kaaba?

No. Muslims worship Allah alone. The Kaaba is the sacred direction and centre of the rites, not an object of worship.

This is especially important for reverts and first-timers who may not yet know the background.

The four main Umrah actions

Enter Ihram before Miqat, perform Tawaf, perform Sa’i, then shave or trim the hair to exit Ihram.

In Journey Mode, only the action you need at each stage is shown.

Required, Sunnah and optional

Some actions are completion-critical. Some are Sunnah or recommended. Many du’as are optional and can be made in your own language.

Each item is labelled clearly so you do not need to memorise everything before you start.

Mistakes and safety

Do not push or harm people for optional acts. If something goes wrong, use Help and ask a trusted scholar/guide for serious cases.

Safety and dignity matter. Reaching the Black Stone is not compulsory.
